Saw blade base selection (1) Base material and performance Diamond circular saw blade base must have sufficient strength, rigidity and hardness. Generally, the base hardness of welded saw blades requires HRC37-42; the maximum surface roughness is Ra3.2μm; surface There must be no cracks, burrs, and rust; the matrix must eliminate deformation forces and micro-cracks to ensure the balance of tensile stress, straightness and other shape and position requirements, as well as appearance and internal quality requirements. At present, the base material of diamond circular saw blades is mostly high-quality spring steel 65Mn or 50Mn2V, and the base of laser welding saw blades should be quenched and tempered steel 30CrMo, 35CrMo. Because of its low carbon content, it can be welded well with the laser welding transition layer. . (2) Base structure The base of diamond circular saw blade can be roughly divided into continuous type and nozzle type from the perspective of its peripheral structure. The continuous base is mainly used to make sintered saw blades, and the edges are mostly thinned Great Wall teeth; the nozzle-type base can be used for welding or integral sintering (the edges are also thinned Great Wall teeth). The nozzles are divided into narrow nozzles (small U-shaped, spoon-shaped) and wide nozzles (large U-shaped).

Generally, increasing the arc radius of the nozzle bottom is beneficial to disperse the stress.
